Summary

    Product Code: FPWDRG0777

    Availability: In Stock

A classic drop shaped Freshwater pearl pendant, set below a sparkling solitaire diamond in 18 carat rose gold, would be an ideal wedding present, birthday or anniversary gift.

The drop shaped pearl is one of the most-loved types of pearls and makes a beautiful piece of jewellery.

Originally thought to have been created by the teardrops of angels and gods, the elegant symmetry of the drop shaped pearl is highly sought after for designing a classic pearl pendant.

The white Freshwater cultured pearl for this pendant has been carefully selected for its quality and has an excellent lustre and smooth surface. The size of the pearl is approximately 10-10.5mm in diameter and has a drop length of 13mm.

Set just above the pearl in 18ct rose gold is a sparkling 0.06 carat solitaire diamond, which is the perfect partner for the silky shine of pearls.

The pendant is suspended from a fine 18 carat rose gold trace chain. Our standard length chain is a 45cm length, with an extender ring set in the chain at 42cm to allow the pendant to be worn slightly higher on the neckline, depending on the style and outfit of the day.

If you would prefer a longer gold chain to match this pendant, please contact us and we would be pleased to help.

This pendant is also available in 18 carat white and yellow gold.

Tahitian pearls are saltwater pearls from French Polynesia, with exotic dark colours that often display overtones of pink, purple and green.

Pearl Size 13mm Drop and 10.5mm width

A round pearl is measured across its diameter in millimetres.

For non-spherical, baroque and other shapes of pearls, both the length and width of the pearl is measured.

The most popular Akoya and Freshwater pearl sizes for earrings and necklaces are between 7 and 9mm in diameter.

South Sea and Tahitian pearls are typically worn between 9 and 11mm in diameter, or larger for more statement pieces.
